Rae’s Ride to East Haven
This ride leaves right from Burke Basecamp on Rae's Way, climbs up Less Lumbar to Magill Fields, swoops down Shonter Shuffle, then arrives in East Haven to ride Black Bear & Stormin' Norman. Head back to Burke Basecamp via scenic Marshall Newland Road and the White School trail section. Rae’s Ride, Rae’s Way
A fun 14 mile ride. It starts with a climb up Ozias to Harp & the Coronary section, followed by a jaunt down Darling Hill Road to the swoopy loops behind Rifugio & the Wildflower. A climb up to the Chapel for views & water is followed by more scenic views on Darling HIll, a spin around the Burklyn, then a fun ride down Still Worth It and Kitchel. A scenic ~20 mile ride on gorgeous dirt roads out White School & Marshall Newland to Newark, then returning on Sugarhouse Road to Bugbee Crossing & back to Burke Basecamp. Get In Touch
