built with care in 1990, established with gratitude in 2022.

This gracious home was custom built by Jack & Jean Davis in 1990. Jack Davis was a native of the Northeast Kingdom who received a degree in forestry and worked as a logger and lumberman his entire career. He was a selectman for the Town of Burke for many years and a past president of the Burke Mountain Club. Jack was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting at his camp in Paul’s Stream with family and friends, snowmobiling, fishing, boating, and golfing. Jack was an avid alpine skier in his younger years. Jack & Jean enjoyed traveling extensively with their camper. They traveled to the Arctic Circle, Alaska and enjoyed many trips to the western states.

Jack and Jean wanted to preserve their land, untouched & undeveloped. Our neighbors are Jack & Jean’s family; they continue the amazing legacy. We are honored to be a part of this neighborhood, to respect the earth and the community around us, and to follow in Jack’s footsteps with a deep & abiding sense of respect, appreciation, & love for the great outdoors.

Please share in our gratitude by respecting this home and this land, and by continuing the tradition of using it as a basecamp where great adventures begin.

We look forward to your stay.

Rae
